India Day 2: Jodhpur

The 2nd day in Jodhpur was spent exploring the streets & the old city.

Jodhpur is known as the Blue City due to the houses in the Old City being mostly painted with a blue Indigo based paint to keep them cool. 

Mehrangarh Fort overlooking the City

Built by Rao Jodha in 1459, Mehrangarh Fort is a 1,200 Acre occupied complex that endured several assaults over the centuries and was never breached.
